Where all the adventure and fun begin

Here at the Y Matraville OSHC, we make sure holidays are about fun! We provide a range of Vacation Care activities that children look forward to, including arts, crafts, cooking activities, sports, dance and drama. No matter what your child is interested in, we will plan school holiday activities to suit.

Our Vacation Care program offers a variety of activities, including incursions and excursions. Our activities keep children entertained, engaged and explore their adventurous side.

To be eligible to use our Vacation Care services, children must be enrolled at school or school aged.

Vacation Care Autumn 2022 Timetable

MON 11 APR	DAY CAMP \| DIY Sensory Toy Day Join us for this fun creative stress free day as we will be designing and making our very own sensory toys. There will be lots of fidget toys, squishies, stress balls and many more fidget toys to create and play with during this day.	Full fee $61.50
TUE 12 APR	INCURSION \| Reptile Mania Did you know that most reptiles can smell using their tongues?? How cool is that!!! Come join us on this exhilarating day as we learn about various reptiles and their habitats as well as getting the chance to get up close and personal with them.	Full fee $75.00
WED 13 APR	EXCURSION \| Movies Come indulge in some popcorn as we are off to the Entertainment Quarter to watch the movie of the year ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’. Please make sure your child is wearing their YMCA Vacation Care shirt.	Full fee $90.00
THU 14 APR	DAY CAMP \| Easter Eggstravaganza Come jump into this action packed day where we will be having a GIANT Easter egg hunt around the school as well as lots of fun Easter craft & games to be played.	Full fee $61.50

TUE 19 APR	INCURSION \| Go Kart How fast can you race around the school? Bring your A game and determination as we race against one another around an inflatable track to see who can be crowned the best driver here at YMCA.	Full fee $80.00
WED 20 APR	EXCURSION \| Heffron Park Come along with us as we are off to explore Heffron Park. During this day we will be making our very own kites to fly as well as bringing along some sports equipment for all to enjoy. Please make sure your child is wearing their YMCA Vacation Care shirt.	Full fee $61.50
THU 21 APR	DAY CAMP \| Puppet and Show & Tell Day Do you have something at home that you would love to bring in and share with the rest of the group or do you have a funny story or joke to tell?? During this day we will be sharing lots of interesting stories with one another as well as making our very own puppets.	Full fee $61.50
FRI 22 APR	DAY CAMP \| Where’s the Educators?? Have you seen Alissa lately… or maybe even Ashley?? We think they may be lost?? Help us attempt to unravel the clues to solve the mystery of the missing educators. Do you have what it takes???	Full fee $61.50

What to bring

Children must have a hat, enclosed shoes, water bottle and bring their lunch and sufficient snacks for the day. We provide morning tea each day. Please remember we are a nut free service - no foods containing nuts can be brought into the centre. Children should also bring any personal items to support their individual care needs (e.g. medication or change of clothes).

What to wear

For day camps and workshops, children must wear appropriate clothing for the season, a broad-brimmed hat and enclosed shoes. Please note, the Y NSW is a sun-safe service and children are encouraged to have shoulders covered.
