Where all the adventure and fun begin

Here at the Y Dee Why OSHC, we make sure holidays are about fun! We provide a range of Vacation Care activities that children look forward to, including arts, crafts, cooking activities, sports, dance and drama. No matter what your child is interested in, we will plan school holiday activities to suit.

Our Vacation Care program offers a variety of activities, including incursions and excursions. Our activities keep children entertained, engaged and explore their adventurous side.

To be eligible to use our Vacation Care services, children must be enrolled at school or school aged.

MON 11 APR	WORKSHOP \| 9D Cinema Experience Put on your 3D glasses and experience the combination of augmented reality and virtual reality. Choose from a variety of short films. Permission note must be returned to the service prior to workshop.	Full fee $75.00
TUE 12 APR	DAY CAMP \| Hoppy Easter Make a salt dough Easter egg to decorate, bunny pancakes, and test your problem solving skills in the egg drop challenge! Chocolate eggs will be used as part of an activity. Dietary requirements, allergies, and other requirements must be communicated to the service prior to the day camp.	Full fee $60.00
WED 13 APR	WORKSHOP \| The Wildlife Movement Learn about the amazing features and adaptations of animals that can be found in rockpools and how we can help protect it in this hands on experience, with sea stars, anemones, elephant snails and more! Permission note must be returned to the service prior to workshop.	Full fee $78.00
THU 14 APR	EXCURSION \| Picnic at the Park Roll up your picnic rug and pack your best hat. Let’s spend the day at Dee Why Park and munch on some goodies. Dietary requirements, allergies, and other requirements must be communicated to the service prior to the excursion. Some lunch and snacks with be provided. Permission note must be returned prior to the excursion.	Full fee $80.00

MON 18 APR	Easter Monday No Vacation Care
TUE 19 APR	WORKSHOP \| Go Karts 2 U Ready, Set, GO! Drive an electric go kart around an inflatable track with GO-Karts2U! All equipment is provided. Permission note must be returned to the service prior to workshop.	Full fee $78.00
WED 20 APR	DAY CAMP \| Silly Billy Let the silliness begin! Wear colourful socks, get your face painted, and your hair sprayed! Allergies and other requirements must be communicated to the service prior to the day camp.	Full fee $62.00
THU 21 APR	EXCURSION \| Taronga Zoo Taronga is home to over 4,000 animals from over 350 species. Help us find your favourite animals! Permission note must be returned to the service prior to excursion. Please be at the centre prior to 8:00am. We will be returning to centre around 4:00pm.	Full fee $90.00
FRI 22 APR	WORKSHOP \| Aim 4 Fun Attention Troops! You have been enlisted to join the Y in this laser tag experience. Rain or shine the mission must go on. All equipment is provided. Permission note must be returned to the service prior to workshop.	Full fee $75.00

What to bring

Children must have a hat, enclosed shoes, water bottle and bring their lunch and sufficient snacks for the day. We provide morning tea each day. Please remember we are a nut free service - no foods containing nuts can be brought into the centre. Children should also bring any personal items to support their individual care needs (e.g. medication or change of clothes).

What to wear

For day camps and workshops, children must wear appropriate clothing for the season, a broad-brimmed hat and enclosed shoes. Please note, the Y NSW is a sun-safe service and children are encouraged to have shoulders covered.
