KinderGym classes are designed for children aged five years and under to develop their strength, coordination, flexibility and confidence in a fun and safe environment. The Y Caringbah offers KinderGym classes that provide an introduction to gymnastics through play-based activities.
In these classes, children can explore different types of equipment such as tunnels, hoops, beams and mats while developing their body awareness. They also get the opportunity to interact with other children which is essential for building social skills.
The sessions are led by qualified instructors who use music and games to make the experience enjoyable for kids. Parents or caregivers participate in the class with their child creating a bonding experience between them while providing support during challenging movements.
KinderGym is beneficial not only for physical development but also cognitive development as it helps improve communication skills and fosters creativity. It's a perfect opportunity for parents to introduce their child into gymnastics at an early age whilst having fun together!
For children aged 12 months – 5 years.

Recreational gymnastics is a great way to improve fitness, coordination and flexibility while having fun. It's an ideal activity for children and adults who want to try out the sport without the pressure of competition.
At the Y Caringbah, recreational gymnastics classes are available for all ages and abilities. They offer a safe environment where participants can learn basic skills like rolls, cartwheels, handstands and more advanced moves as they progress.
The classes are designed to challenge each participant at their own level with experienced coaches who provide guidance on proper techniques. Participants also get the opportunity to meet new people and develop social skills in a friendly environment.
Recreational gymnastics helps build strength, agility, balance and control which translates into other areas of life such as improved posture or better performance in other sports activities.
For children aged 5 - 18 years.

Our program is designed to help you reach your full potential in competitive gymnastics. Our experienced coaches work closely with each gymnast to develop their skills and help them progress through the levels of competition. We offer programs for girls and boys of all ages and skill levels - from beginners just starting out to elite-level athletes.
In addition to building a strong foundation of basic skills, our competitive gymnastics program strongly emphasises conditioning and strength training. Our coaches understand that gymnastics is a physically demanding sport, and to progress to higher levels of competition, gymnasts need to be both strong and flexible.
For all ages.

Gymnastics is not just for children and young athletes. Adult gymnastics has been on the rise in recent years, as more and more adults are discovering the benefits of this sport. Whether you're a former gymnast looking to get back in shape or a complete beginner, adult gymnastics classes can provide an excellent workout while improving flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination.
One of the great things about adult gymnastics is that it's never too late to start. Many gyms offer beginner-level classes specifically designed for adults who may have little to no experience with gymnastics. These classes will typically focus on basic skills such as forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and other foundational movements.
For those who are already comfortable with these basics or who want a greater challenge, there are also intermediate and advanced level classes available at many facilities. These classes will often include more complex skills like tumbling passes on floor exercise equipment or bar routines with releases and catches.
In addition to physical benefits such as improved fitness levels and enhanced coordination skills, adult gymnastics can also be incredibly empowering mentally. As you progress through your training sessions and master new skills over time – even if they’re small ones- you'll gain confidence in yourself both inside & outside of your gym practice!
So if you've ever wanted to try out some flips or hone some old moves from past days don't hesitate! Adult gymnastic programs could be just what you need to take control of your fitness routine while having fun doing it!
For 18 years and older.
Our GymAbility program allows athletes of all levels of physical and mental ability to learn gymnastics skills. Athletes living with a disability are accommodated to participate in either recreational or competitive gymnastics in fun and safe environments.
At the Y NSW, we have many gymnasts with a disability integrated into our mainstream classes across all our sites. Our experienced and caring coaches work with families wanting to integrate their children as much as possible.
We also work with Special Olympics to provide opportunities for these athletes to compete in gymnastics at our Epping and Bankstown sites.
